Preparation and Usage

Feeding Guide
Seed - Provide your bird with fresh seed each day. Make it easy for your bird to remove the nutritious kernels from seed by discarding empty husks.
Water - Ensure your bird has fresh, clean water daily.
More Variety - To add variety and interest to your bird's diet introduce a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables or a cuttlebone but do not overfeed. Do not feed avocados.
Diet Changes - Birds need time to become familiar with new foods and can be sensitive to changes in diet.

Caring for your Budgerigar
Your bird's cage, feeders, perches and toys should be cleaned weekly. Clean them with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
Help your bird exercise its feet and avoid claw or joint problems by providing a variety of natural branch perches to rest on.
Your bird needs plenty of room to extend its wings. Make sure its movement around the cage is not restricted by too many toys.
